The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards

September 15, 2021 by

15th September 2021

The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards were launched in 2012 to focus on, and celebrate, the expertise, achievements and outstanding contribution that businesses and individuals continually make to the growth of our County.

These Awards enable Hertfordshire businesses to showcase their performance and achievements to clients, customers, suppliers, stakeholders and to all of the Hertfordshire business community.

In recognition of our hard work, at the Herts Chamber of Commerce ‘The Inspiring Hertfordshire Awards’, The Living Room came Highly Commended for Business of the Year, North Hertfordshire.

Our founder Janis Feely and Adrienne Arthurs, our Chief Executive were invited to Warner Bros studio, to the Harry Potter Studio Tour, in Leavesden on 9th September 2021.  They met many people representing businesses and charities from across Hertfordshire and had the opportunity to dress up in their finest, proud to represent The Living Room.

Thank you to everyone at the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce for having us, we are already looking forward to next years awards!

Further information on the awards and categories is available here.

Breathe in calm, breathe out stress…

The Box Breathing Tool, created by Watford counsellor Yousef Kira Durrani, is a simple yet highly effective technique designed to help regulate the nervous system during times of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, or emotional discomfort.

By following a structured pattern of breathing in, holding, breathing out, and holding again for equal counts, we can slow our heart rate, calm racing thoughts, and bring our attention back to the present moment.
