Event raises £5000 in memory of Chris

November 20, 2019 by

20th November 2019

This July The Chris Frankish Trust laid on The Sharnbrook Garden Party and Music Festival, an event raising money and awareness in memory of Chris who died earlier in 2019 after suffering with mental health and alcohol dependency. Along with other mental health charities, we were delighted to attend the party, which included celebrity appearances, auctions, live singers and DJs and fabulous food.

This week we were thrilled to be presented with a cheque for £1666.66 by Steph and Stuart Frankish (Chris’ sister and brother) and Ciro Ciampi, who hosted the event at The Sharnbrook Hotel in Bedford, from money raised at the festival. We assure Chris’s family and everyone involved in the Chris Frankish Trust that your donation will help others suffering with addiction and mental health issues.

Breathe in calm, breathe out stress…

The Box Breathing Tool, created by Watford counsellor Yousef Kira Durrani, is a simple yet highly effective technique designed to help regulate the nervous system during times of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, or emotional discomfort.

By following a structured pattern of breathing in, holding, breathing out, and holding again for equal counts, we can slow our heart rate, calm racing thoughts, and bring our attention back to the present moment.
