The Not So Serious Fun Quiz

January 14, 2021 by

Thursday 14th January 2021

Soroptimist International of Hertford and District are organising another Virtual Quiz Night on:

Friday 5th February 2021

7:30pm – 9:00pm (room open from 7:15pm)

Via Zoom

It will be run on similar lines to last time with six rounds, each of six questions, with a choice from four possible answers, so you have a 25% chance of being right! You can join the Quiz either singly or with a partner.

After each round you will be put randomly into a break out room to meet people and discuss your answers if you would like to. You need not agree with anyone else!

You will then leave the room and will be given the answers. Please keep your own score. A prize will be awarded to the person with the highest score. The procedure will continue for each round.

They would be delighted if you would like to take part and are raising funds for The Living Room and Safer Places.

If you would like to attend, please let us know before Monday 25th January on 0300 365 0304 or email us at [email protected] and we will pass on your details to quiz organiser Anne so she can process your donations and save your space.

Breathe in calm, breathe out stress…

The Box Breathing Tool, created by Watford counsellor Yousef Kira Durrani, is a simple yet highly effective technique designed to help regulate the nervous system during times of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, or emotional discomfort.

By following a structured pattern of breathing in, holding, breathing out, and holding again for equal counts, we can slow our heart rate, calm racing thoughts, and bring our attention back to the present moment.
