Spend a night under the stars and make a difference
Join us on Friday 13 November 2026 for the St Albans Sleepout. Sign up to sleep out for The Living Room, raise vital funds for our work and help increase awareness of homelessness and addiction across Hertfordshire.
Take part individually, with a friend or as part of a team. You’ll experience a memorable night of live music, entertainment and engaging workshops while standing in solidarity with people affected by homelessness.
The Living Room is proud to take part alongside Centre 33, Emmaus Hertfordshire, Herts Young Homeless (hyh) and Open Door.
Addiction and homelessness
Addiction and homelessness are often closely connected. According to the national homelessness charity Crisis, 27% of its clients reported problematic drug or alcohol use. Two-thirds of people experiencing homelessness cite drug or alcohol use as a reason they first became homeless, while people who use drugs are seven times more likely to experience homelessness.
For many of the people we support, recovery from addiction is an important first step towards rebuilding their lives and finding a way out of homelessness.
Sleep out for The Living Room
By signing up to sleep out for The Living Room, every pound you raise will support our work helping people break free from addiction and build lasting, healthy lives.
Secure your place today, start fundraising for The Living Room and join us in the fight against addiction and homelessness.
