Our Mission
To provide treatment for adults with the illness of addiction and to support their family members, in Hertfordshire.
Our Charitable Incorporated Organisation (registration no. 1175541) objectives are:
a) to preserve and protect the health of all persons who are in danger of becoming addicted to, or dependent upon, drugs of any description, alcohol, solvents or other addictive substances or behaviours within the County of Hertfordshire and such other places as the trustees shall from time to time decide by the provision of counselling an recovery services.
b) to advance the education of professionals working in the field of addiction treatment by the provision of professional training, support services and information.
We do this by:
- Providing a non-residential service, delivered by fully qualified counsellors who themselves are in long-term recovery from addiction, where people can abstain from any addictive behaviour and remain abstinent
- Providing a free, abstinence based, day service
- Providing appropriate services and support for all members of the family, so that they can recover together
- Recognise the illness of addiction is not limited to just drugs and alcohol
- Providing a service where people feel loved and their potential for transformation is honoured
